The Cape Town International Kite Festival is Cape Mental Health’s annual fundraising and awareness raising event. The theme for 2007 (our 13th kite festival) is Healthy Minds. This theme captures the essence of what kite flying evokes - that you can:

The Kite Festival will again take place at Zandvlei, Muizenberg, and entry will remain a donation of only R5. Up to 25,000 people gather at this scenic site each year to witness spectacular show kites flown by national and international kiters.
