Date: 7,8 & 9 March 2008
Venue: Jakarta Convention Center
City: Jakarta
State: Indonesia

What's unique about Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival

- More than just jazz : If you're not that keen on jazz, don't worry! Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival ("JJF") is not meant for jazz enthusiasts only. There are serious jazz tunes in the menu AND various other music styles : soul, R&B, reggae, hip hop, rap, pop, rock, ethnic, gospel, electro, latin, crossover - you name it! You will almost definitely find something that suits your very own personal taste and enjoy new experiences amid the overall "jazzy" atmosphere of the festival.

- All under one roof : To watch as many of your favorite artists as possible, yes, you may have to stage - hopping, leaving a show sooner in order to catch another. But at least, all you need to do is to RUN! No need to ride a taxi or walk a long distance since all of the 15 or more stages are in the same venue - the Jakarta Convention Center. Located strategically in the central of Jakarta, this 30,000 sqm modern landmark consisting of varied-size halls and spacious lobby areas is easily accessible from different parts of the city.

- STARS of today and tomorrow : In the festival, you can enjoy not only big, legendary names but also artists who are not yet widely recognized but are exceptionally talented and strong performers. We would like the festival to be a platform to promote high potential, less known and emerging musicians from many parts of the world while delivering a high quality, innovative program for you. Cross-cultural collaboration is a highlight of the festival.

- Music PLUS : Hang out with friends, greet your idols, take pictures, eat in the food stalls, shop for CDs, T-shirts and other groovy merchandise items, enjoy special offers and attractions in our sponsors booths, learn in Music Clinic, visit the exhibition (of music products), awards presentation, win prizes . . . are things you can do - besides watching more than a thousand artists in action!

- Pocket counts : In JJF, you can enjoy 50 or more shows a day from emerging to headlining stars, both local and international, with entrance ticket cheaper than that of most single concerts in Jakarta or elsewhere. The saving is even bigger if you buy 'multipass', allowing you access to all acts - 3 days in a row (except the 'special shows' which require additional ticket). Compared to similar festivals worldwide, JJF also gives you "value for money". This is possible because of the strong support we have from the government, private companies and individuals in win-win, long - term partnerships.

- Paradise at your doorstep : To make your visit to Indonesia even more worthwhile and memorable, we are working with airlines, hotels and travel agents to provide you with attractive travel packages - including to Bali. The packages will be on offer starting in Available Soon. Mark your calendar now for next year's Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival : March 7,8,9, 2008!
